It does not matter whether you are just starting out or already have more or less experience as a grower. How does the GrowStream aeroponic system work?
The roots hang in a chamber through which nutrient solution enriched with oxygen constantly flows. The plant thus receives water, nutrients and atmospheric oxygen at the same time, which is the key to rapid growth and high yields without a conventional substrate.
Which GrowStream model should you choose?
Follow the number of plants and the size of the growing area. GrowStream 10 with a 45-litre tank can handle 10 plants, while the larger GrowStream 20, 40, 60 and 80 models use a 150-litre tank and grow with your ambitions up to 80 plants.
What else will I need for the system?
To get it up and running, a submersible pump for circulating the solution is useful. We also recommend monitoring the pH and EC of the solution so that the plants absorb nutrients in the optimum ratio.
Is aeroponics suitable for beginners?
GrowStream is designed to be user-friendly, but it does require regular solution checks and a clean system. If you are new to hydroponics, first go through the basics and maintenance below.
