Pair for 120x120 cm

SANlight EVO 4-120 is the main LED luminaire in the EVO 1.5 range in the mid-range 265 W class, extended into a long body - in a pair it covers a 120x120 cm tent. It delivers 725 µmol/s of photon flux and SANlight states a module efficiency of over 3 µmol/J for the EVO range. IP65 protection shields the luminaire and connectors from dust and splashing water. The spectrum consists of red and far-red OSRAM LEDs supplemented by white Seoul Semiconductor (WICOP) diodes.

Pair for 120x120 cm

EVO 4-120 carries the same 265 W and 725 µmol/s as the shorter 4-80, but in a 1018 mm body. Two EVO 4-120 luminaires cover a 120x120 cm tent. For a smaller 80x80 cm area with higher density per luminaire, choose the shorter EVO 4-80.

You choose the power cable separately

The luminaire is supplied without a power cable - this is SANlight's intention, because every installation has a different distance to the socket and some need a straight input, others an angled one. You therefore need to buy either a straight power cable or an angled cable with a Wieland RST20i3 connector for EVO 1.5 and Q-Series Gen2. Which is which can be found in the Compatibility section above.

Dimming and control

The luminaire is controlled via a separate blue connector. You can attach a magnetic M-Dimmer or SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer with phone control to it, or control it with an external 0-10V controller via an adapter cable. Power and dimming are two separate sockets, do not confuse them.

Frequently asked questions

Does the EVO 4-120 luminaire come with a power cable in the box?

No. SANlight deliberately supplies the EVO 4-120 without a power cable so that you can choose the variant according to your installation. To get it up and running, you need one power cable with a Wieland RST20i3 connector - straight, or angled if you route the supply close to the body. Both are available separately from us and installation takes a few minutes.

Does the cabling from EVO 4-120 also fit STIXX, FLEX II or EVO Compact?

No. EVO 4-120 uses the Wieland RST20i3 power connector, common to the entire EVO 1.5 and Q-Series Gen2 range. It does not fit EVO Compact in the 400 V version (that one has connector N50243) or the STIXX (M19) and FLEX II (WDC) ranges - they have their own cabling. When buying a cable, stick to the EVO/Q-Series variant.

Can I connect more than one EVO 4-120 to a single supply?

Yes. In larger spaces, EVO 4-120 units are often arranged in pairs or more side by side. To power them from a single supply, use a Wieland connector (distributor), which splits the mains to several luminaires. You can then dim each one separately, or together via a dimming signal splitter.
