Energy-saving class for 80x80 cm

SANlight EVO 3-80 is the main LED light of the EVO 1.5 series in the energy-saving 200 W class - one light covers an 80x80 cm tent. It delivers 545 µmol/s of photon flux and SANlight states a module efficiency of over 3 µmol/J for the EVO series. Thanks to IP65 protection, it can handle dust and splashing water, and the connectors have the same protection as the housing. The spectrum consists of red and far-red OSRAM LEDs supplemented by white Seoul Semiconductor (WICOP) diodes.

Same output, different area

EVO 3-60, 3-80 and 3-100 share the same 200 W power input and 545 µmol/s PPF - they differ in housing length and coverage area. One EVO 3-80 (643 mm) covers an 80x80 cm tent. The smaller 3-60 is enough for 60x60 cm, while the longer 3-100 is suitable for a depth of 100 cm or as a pair for 1 m2.

You need a power cable to get it running

The package does not include a power cable - you choose it according to your installation. You can use a straight power cable, or an angled variant when you route the supply close to the housing. Both have a Wieland RST20i3 connector for EVO 1.5 and Q-Series Gen2 (an overview of matching and non-matching systems is in the Compatibility section).

Dimming via the blue connector

Next to the power connection there is a separate blue dimming connector on the housing. You can connect a Bluetooth Dimmer to it, which you set in the app on your phone, or a magnetic M-Dimmer. For connection into a larger system, an external 0-10V controller can be used via an adapter.

Frequently asked questions

Does the cabling from EVO 3-80 also fit STIXX, FLEX II or EVO Compact?

No. EVO 3-80 uses the Wieland RST20i3 power connector, common to the entire EVO 1.5 and Q-Series Gen2 range. It does not fit EVO Compact in the 400 V version (that one has connector N50243) or the STIXX (M19) and FLEX II (WDC) ranges - they have their own cabling. When buying a cable, stick to the EVO/Q-Series variant.

Is a power cable included with the EVO 3-80 light?

No. SANlight supplies the EVO 3-80 deliberately without a power cable so that you can choose the variant according to your installation. To get it running, you need one power cable with a Wieland RST20i3 connector - straight, or angled when you route the supply close to the housing. Both are available separately from us and installation takes a few minutes.

How is the EVO 3-80 dimmed?

The light has a separate blue dimming connector. You can connect a magnetic M-Dimmer or SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer to it, which you control via the app on your phone. Alternatively, you can regulate the EVO 3-80 with an external 0-10V controller via an adapter cable. The power and dimming connectors are two separate sockets.
