The German manufacturer PrimaKlima has been developing products in the field of air technology since 1996. Among this brand's proudest products are odour filters, which it exports throughout the EU and to more than 20 other countries worldwide! From their wide range, we offer not only odour filters but also top-quality fans, reflectors and discharge lamps, as well as original modular LED lighting. An interesting fact is that this traditional company, founded in the German town of Bretten, is now based in the Czech town of Radnice.
What sets PrimaKlima products above the rest is the quality, which is evident in the design, workmanship, materials used and even the smallest details. Continuous testing and product improvement have led the company to now boast four product ranges, none of which have anything to be ashamed of. In addition to reliably absorbing odours, these carbon filters also help fans operate more efficiently.
Models from all product ranges share these common features:
- Uncompromising quality of the materials and carbon used
- Easy installation
- Excellent absorption of odours
- Great service life
Pit Puk does not look like a filter range at first glance, but the opposite is true. It is actually more versatile than a classic filter - the basis is the "Pit" plastic flange(in 100, 125 and 150 mm versions), which fits the "Puk" carbon cartridge. It is possible to use more cartridges and adjust the filter as needed. The filter can be attached to the end of ventilation (intake and extract) or two flanges can be used and the filter connected into the ducting (inline).
ECO Line is a very common choice among our customers. It is mainly valued for its excellent price-to-quality ratio. Under the replaceable pre-filter made of non-woven fabric, you will find a solid metal housing with a three-centimetre layer of high-quality CTC 75 carbon. Depending on the environment, the service life of the filters is around 9 months. A huge range of sizes and capacities is available, so it suits every space.
From the ECO Line range, we have also selected Combo kits, in which you will find a high-quality filter of the same brand with a suitable filter. Versions with capacities of 360 m3/h and 400 m3/h are available.
Industry filters are especially appreciated by demanding customers and professional growers. They offer excellent odour adsorption and stand out above all for their service life, which reaches up to two years. Inside you will find a 4 cm thick layer of eco-friendly coconut carbon. The filters are made to last - the entire construction is cleverly designed and robust. A pre-filter is, of course, included.
CarboCone filters are the newest range, distinguished mainly by the original shape of the inner carbon housing and extremely long service life. We have divided it according to the carbon used into two categories: CarboCone CTC65 and CarboCone CTC75.
CarboCone filters have a carbon chamber reinforced at the end where the filter is expected to be connected. This is where the largest volume of air flows, and it is precisely here that, in a conventional filter with a straight wall, the carbon first loses its adsorption properties. There is therefore more carbon where it is needed and less where the air flow is weaker. Less carbon is used, and the efficiency of odour adsorption increases. The service life of the filter also increases (by an estimated 30%) to an almost unbeatable three years!
To ensure your filters last as long as possible, we recommend keeping the pre-filter on its surface as clean as possible. It captures dust and any larger airborne impurities that could damage the filter. Depending on the amount of dust and other contamination in the environment, the pre-filter needs to be cleaned regularly. It can simply be shaken out, vacuumed or put in the washing machine.
If the pre-filter is damaged, we recommend buying a replacement.
TIP: PrimaKlima filters work perfectly with compatible fans of the same brand.
Please note that the service life of each filter depends on the environment in which it is used. A dusty or humid environment may reduce its service life, while in other conditions the filter may last longer. Therefore, please treat the service life figures as an estimate only.
