Prima Klima K2601 - clean, odour-free extract air (125 mm flange)

The extended Eco Line K2601 with a 125 mm connection provides longer air contact with the carbon, resulting in more effective filtration for a larger tent. The Prima Klima K2601 carbon odour filter from the Eco Line range captures odour molecules in a 3 cm deep bed of highly active carbon, so only clean, odour-free air leaves the extract system. The 125 mm flange connects to ducting and a fan of the same diameter - keep the filter, ducting and fan at one diameter of 125 mm. It is suitable approximately for a tent measuring 80x80 to 100x100 cm at an airflow of up to 480 m3/h (ideally around 360 m3/h).

How the carbon filter works

Activated carbon works like a battery: air passes through the carbon bed and organic odour molecules are captured in its microporous structure. Quality is determined by the CTC value and iodine number (how much material the carbon absorbs), together with the bed thickness - the longer the air remains in contact with the carbon, the more effectively odours are removed. Prima Klima fills the Eco Line with anthracite CTC75 pellets (3 mm), which have low pressure resistance and also tolerate higher humidity well. Once exhausted, the carbon can be topped up or replaced; the entire filter does not need to be discarded.

Choose a 125 mm fan with an output of up to 480 m3/h - for example, a Prima Klima 125 mm fan. The filter is suitable approximately for a tent measuring 80x80 to 100x100 cm. You can easily calculate the required airflow: multiply the room volume (length x width x height in metres) by 60 and compare the result with the filter's maximum output. It is compatible with any 125 mm fan with a corresponding output; in the Eco Line range, it is followed by the smaller K2600 360 m3/h and the larger K2602 620 m3/h.

How long does the carbon last?

Therefore, run the filter only when odour can be detected and preferably reduce the airflow; the carbon will then last significantly longer.

Can the carbon be replaced?
