Prima Klima PUK CTC80 - replacement carbon cartridge for the PITPUK system

Has your duct filter lost its breath? Prima Klima PUK CTC80 is a replacement carbon cartridge for the modular duct system PITPUK. Instead of replacing the entire filter, you simply insert a new cartridge and odour filtration is back - faster and cheaper than a whole new filter. The cartridge is filled with 3 mm pellets of original CTC80 quality activated carbon.

How PITPUK and the cartridge work

PITPUK is mounted directly into the ducting (air duct) using brackets, not as a separate cylinder behind the fan. Air passes through the bed of activated carbon, where odour molecules are adsorbed - the quality is determined by the CTC value and the carbon's iodine number together with contact time. CTC80 carbon has a high iodine number and low pressure resistance. If you need higher airflow, you connect more cartridges in parallel in the system - hence the name modular.

Which filter does the cartridge fit?

How do I know when it is time to replace it?

When odour starts to be noticeable from the extract even with correct installation and lower airflow, the carbon is exhausted. Lifespan decreases with higher airflow and more impurities - therefore run the cartridge only when necessary.
