Do you need performance and quality without switching? Choose high-performance Prima Klima centrifugal fans with backward-curved blades, an aerodynamically optimised housing and a single speed setting.

With EC fans, which we primarily recommend to our customers, you can look forward to a premium motor, quiet operation and exceptionally low electricity consumption.

AC fans in this category are driven by a top-quality German MES AC motor, adapted to a housing made of non-flammable, impact-resistant polyamide (nylon). Maintenance-free ball bearings contribute to reliable and smooth motor operation.

AC motors use alternating current from the main power source to power and change the poles of the electromagnets inside. At full load and speed, they are very efficient. The problem arises when you want to regulate the motor in any way. This causes losses and humming and buzzing at low speeds.

The individual models designed for circular ducting differ in maximum air flow (max. 1300 m3/h) and you can also choose according to flange size (100-200 mm, most often 125 mm).

Using the supplied mounting bracket, the fan can be easily and safely attached to a wall or ceiling in any position.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a single-speed and a two-speed fan?

A single-speed fan runs at one performance level - it is simpler and reliable, ideal where you need constant performance without switching. If you want to switch between two levels, choose the two-speed variant.

When should I choose an EC motor and when an AC motor?

We primarily recommend EC motors - they run more quietly, use less energy and can be smoothly regulated without losses. AC fans with a German MES motor are a robust and powerful choice; however, when reducing speed, they suffer losses and can hum.

What performance (m3/h) fan do I need?

Follow the volume of the space and the need for air exchange; when extracting through a filter, allow a reserve. The models in this category reach up to 1300 m3/h and flange diameters from 100 to 200 mm, most often 125 mm.

Can a single-speed fan be regulated?

On an AC model, speed regulation brings losses and noise. If you want smooth and quiet regulation, choose Prima Klima with an EC motor or the version with speed control and thermostat.
