A plant can absorb nutrients only within a certain pH range - outside it, minerals remain unavailable in the solution, even if there is enough of them in the fertiliser. Hesi pH+ is used to bring the pH of the watering solution or nutrient solution back into the correct range.

For safety reasons, this product (acid/alkali) cannot be sent by any courier service or to collection points. It can only be ordered for personal collection at our shop. Thank you for your understanding.

Why adjust pH

Too low or too high a pH prevents the roots from taking up individual elements and can lead to deficiencies even though the fertiliser is being dosed correctly. The optimal pH value of the nutrient solution is in the range of 5.8 - 6.2, especially in hydroponics and coconut substrates, where the substrate does not balance pH on its own.

How to dose Hesi pH+

The product is concentrated, so add it to the watering solution gradually and in small doses - a few drops at a time is enough. After each addition, mix the solution thoroughly and measure the pH with a pH metre, only then continue dosing. Always measure pH only after adding fertilisers, not before.

Safety when handling

Hesi pH+ contains potassium hydroxide, so it is a corrosive substance. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and use protective equipment when handling it. Keep out of reach of children and pets, in the original sealed packaging.
