The set combines the AutoPot 1Pot 4Pot self-watering system with four pots, 100% organic Biotabs nutrition and a quality substrate into an all-in-one solution. For three plants, you have comfortable spacing and one extra position as a reserve. You will harvest a rich yield without having to take care of watering and fertilising every day - you only top up the water in the tank once every few days.

The heart of the system: AutoPot 4Pot

The basis of everything is the gravity irrigation system AutoPot 4Pot. It does not need any electricity - everything is controlled by the patented AQUAvalve5 float valve in each tray. The spacious 15-litre pots give the roots plenty of room and the large 47-litre tank ensures watering for many days. The set includes 4 pots - three plants have comfortable spacing in it and the fourth position remains as a reserve, for example for a replacement seedling or a mother plant.

Nutrition for the whole cycle: Biotabs tablets

Forget mixing fertilisers. Biotabs tablets are 100% organic slow-release tablets with nutrients (NPK 15-7-8). Simply press them into the substrate and you have nutrition for the entire growing cycle covered. They contain a blend of organic ingredients and beneficial soil bacteria that not only nourish the plant, but also actively improve the soil micro-life.

Biotabs is a comprehensive organic nutrition system based on soil living organisms: slow organic tablets for a long-term supply of nutrients, probiotic bacteria to revitalise the substrate and mycorrhizal fungi that improve the uptake of water and minerals. As a result, the substrate maintains its fertility throughout the cycle and the plant grows without the need to monitor EC.

How the system works and how to start it

Watering is handled by the AQUAvalve5 float valve in each tray. It fills the tray with water to a height of 20 mm and remains closed until the plants have used up all the water - hence the natural wet-dry cycle.

The basis of success: substrate and drainage

For the AutoPot system to work properly, it is essential to use an airy substrate and a drainage layer. That is why the set includes the light, organically certified BioNova Bio Soilmix substrate, which ensures optimal aeration of the roots thanks to the addition of perlite. At the bottom of each pot belongs a 2-3 cm layer of expanded clay (hydroton) Plagron Euro Pebbles. This prevents the roots from standing in water and ensures free space around the sensitive AQUAvalve valve.

Simple instructions for use

• Pour a 2-3 cm layer of Plagron Euro Pebbles hydroton into the bottom of each pot - it ensures optimal aeration of the roots.
• Fill the pots with BioNova Bio Soilmix substrate, which you mix with the rest of the Plagron Euro Pebbles.
• Press 3 Biotabs tablets into the substrate in each pot to a depth of 5-10 cm.
• Plant the plant (seedling or seed).
• Assemble the AutoPot system according to the enclosed manual and fill the tank with clean water, without fertilisers.
• For the first approximately 7-10 days, water the plants manually from above so that the root system develops down to the bottom of the pot. Then leave everything to the system.
