Radish sprouts, thanks to their high vitamin C content (2x more than in the radish root), strengthen immunity, especially during colds, when they also support the coughing up of mucus. Thanks to their high sulphur content, they improve the condition of the skin, hair and nails. Radish sprouts have a sharp, peppery and distinctive flavour that is almost identical to the flavour of the radish root. Ideal for salads, sandwiches and spreads, especially egg spreads. Finely chopped sprouts are excellent as an ingredient in soups.

For convenient microgreens germination, use Mungo - germination tray

Growing and harvesting:
- soak the seeds for 6 – 8 hours in cold water, then spread them evenly on the mesh of the sprout growing device (e.g. Mungo - germination tray)
- add water up to the lower level of the mesh and keep the level at this height
- in 3 – 5 days the seeds will germinate
- germination time may vary depending on growing conditions
- harvest the sprouts at a height of 3 – 5 cm
- cut them at the base with scissors
- during the growth of the sprouts, taste them gradually so that at the moment of harvest they have the flavour that seems best to you

After harvesting, the sprouts can be stored in a cool place for 3 – 4 days.
