Detailed information

Product detailed description

Milwaukee economical testers are easy-to-use and low-cost tools for quick and reliable EC measurement. Measuring electrical conductivity is the best way to check the amount of salt or dissolved solids (TDS) in water. Milwaukee offers a range of pocket testers that allow you to measure conductivity values from very low to very high. All EC/TDS testers automatically compensate for temperature variations. The CD611 is a tester specifically for water analysis. The calibration procedure is very simple and quick. The CD611 is supplied with a protective cap, screwdriver, battery and instructions.

Your measurements displayed on the screen are in mS/cm.
To find the value in µS/cm (µmho/cm), multiply the number shown on the display by 1000.

Measurements can be approximately converted to TDS (ppm), see examples below:

2,000 µS/cm = 2.0 mS/cm = 1000 ppm on the .50 factor scale
2,000 µS/cm = 2.0 mS/cm = 1400 ppm on the 442 factor scale or the .70 factor scale

Parameters:
- range: 0 to 20000 mS/cm
- resolution: 100 S/cm
- accuracy: ± 2% full scale
- temperature difference: 5 to 50 °C
- environment: 0 to 50 °C/max. relative humidity 95%
- battery type: 4 x 1.5 V, alkaline (included)
- battery life: approx. 350 hours of continuous use
- dimensions: 150 x 30 x 24 mm
