This solution is used for cleaning pH metre probes. When using pH metres, microscopic particles build up on the probe. Therefore, for example once a week, it is necessary to wash this probe in an HCL solution.
- use a soft toothbrush soaked in HCL solution for this.
- do not press too hard on the probe, as this could damage it.
- after pH maintenance, store the metre probe in KCL storage solution.
Regular cleaning will ensure a longer service life and more accurate measurement.
