BioNova MicroMix is a professional, highly concentrated cocktail of trace elements that acts as immediate rescue and effective prevention against their deficiency. Trace elements are absolutely essential for your plants – they take part in the formation of enzymes, hormones and proteins, and are therefore key to vitality in both growth and flowering. Composition and its significance

A deficiency of trace elements first appears on young leaves, because the plant cannot move them from older parts. MicroMix contains five of the most important micro-nutrients in the so-called chelated form. This means that each element is protected by an organic molecule that prevents it from binding to other particles in the substrate and keeps it 100% available to the roots at any pH of the nutrient solution.

• Iron (Fe) 0.36 % (HEEDTA chelate): Key for chlorophyll formation and photosynthesis.
• Manganese (Mn) 0.08 % (EDTA chelate): Important for germination, root growth and stress resistance.
• Boron (Bo) 0.4 % (monohydrate): Essential for flower and fruit development and sugar transport.
• Zinc (Zn) 0.09 % (EDTA chelate): Takes part in the production of growth hormones (auxins).
• Molybdenum (Mo) 0.06 % (sodium molybdate): Enables plants to process nitrogen.

When to use MicroMix

Applying MicroMix is ideal in several specific situations. Reach for it if:

• You notice visible signs of deficiency on plants, such as yellowing of young leaves (chlorosis) or growth deformation.
• You repeatedly use growing medium that may be depleted of trace elements.
• You grow outdoors and, after analysing the soil or water, find that some micro-nutrients are missing.
• You want to create your own feeding plan and have full control over the nutrients supplied.

Important notice: If you use main fertilisers from BioNova for basic nutrition (e.g. Soil Supermix, Hydro Supermix, AutoFlower Supermix), using MicroMix is not necessary. These fertilisers already contain all the necessary micro-elements.

Instructions for use and dosage

MicroMix can be applied as a root drench or as a foliar spray for extra fast absorption.

• Root drench for acute deficiency: Mix 2.5–5 ml of the product per 10 litres of water.
• Preventive root drench: Use a dose of 2.5 ml per 10 litres of water to maintain optimal element levels.
• Foliar spray (fast correction): For immediate effect, mix 2.5–5 ml per 1 litre of water and apply to the leaves.
