Product detailed description

Big Bud Coco Liquid is a flowering booster by Advanced Nutrients designed for growers in coconut substrate. It is the coconut version of the proven Big Bud - it supplies plants in bloom with phosphorus and potassium so they can form larger, denser and heavier flowers, while also taking the specific conditions of coco into account.

How the coco version differs

Coco has its own specifics compared with soil, and Big Bud Coco is optimised for them. In addition to phosphorus and potassium for flower formation, it supplies magnesium, two forms of calcium and differently chelated iron - exactly the nutrients that coconut fibre likes to bind and that plants in coco can easily lack. Practical benefit: you feed the flowers while also preventing typical coco deficiencies.

Dosage and use

Add Big Bud Coco to the bloom base at a rate of 2 ml per litre during early to mid bloom, roughly weeks 2 to 5. Then, according to the dosage chart, switch to the final phase with Overdrive. It is an additive to the bloom base, not a stand-alone fertiliser.

Which Big Bud to choose

The formula comes from the same family, but the form and medium optimisation differ. In coco, choose this Coco version; for soil, hydroponics and aeroponics, use Big Bud Liquid; for a dry soluble form, choose Big Bud Powder. In the feeding programme, it is preceded by Bud Ignitor (weeks 1-2) and in coco it follows on from Sensi Bloom Coco A+B. You can find more among flowering boosters.

Parameters

Guaranteed analysis: P2O5 4 %, K2O 4 %, Ca 1 %, Mg 0.5 %. Contains differently chelated iron and two forms of calcium. Dosage: 2 ml/l. Stage: bloom, weeks 2-5. Medium: coco. Available sizes from 250 ml to canisters.

Frequently asked questions

When should I start using Big Bud Coco so I do not overfeed? Add Big Bud Coco at a rate of 2 ml per litre from the second to roughly the fifth week of bloom, always together with the bloom base. It is not a stand-alone fertiliser, but an additive to it. In the last 2 to 3 weeks of bloom, Overdrive replaces it according to the dosage chart, so the two boosters complement each other in time rather than being combined at the same time.

Why should I choose the Coco version instead of the regular Big Bud in coco? The Coco version is optimised for the specific conditions of coconut substrate - it adds calcium, magnesium and chelated iron, which coco binds. If you grow in coco, you get a product adapted to this medium. In soil, hydroponics or aeroponics, on the other hand, choose the classic Big Bud Liquid, which is optimised for them.

Which base should I combine Big Bud Coco with? It naturally follows on from the coco bloom base Sensi Bloom Coco A+B, but it is compatible with all pH Perfect bases as well as standard competing fertilisers. It is always an additive to the bloom base - the base provides the main nutrition, while Big Bud Coco adds the potential for larger flowers.

You can find the exact dosage for individual ranges in the Advanced Nutrients dosage chart.
