Advanced Nutrients Hammerhead

Product detailed description
Hammerhead is a PK booster from Advanced Nutrients for growers who want to support flower production during flowering without the risk of phosphorus toxicity. It supplies phosphorus and potassium in a 1:3 ratio (NPK 0-4-12) and deliberately contains no nitrogen, so it does not overload the plant during flowering.
How Hammerhead works
The benefit lies in its pure PK profile: the plant receives the phosphorus and potassium it needs during flowering to fill out the flowers, and not nitrogen, which would rather harm quality at this stage. Hammerhead also uses potassium citrate instead of the usual potassium sulphate - a gentler chelator. It combines well with the Sensi Terra series.
Dosage and use
Hammerhead is used during the flowering stage for the flower base. However, the manufacturer does not state the exact official dosage on the product page - distributors state approximately 2 ml per litre on its own, or a lower dose in combination with a final booster. Until we find a confirmed dosage table, follow the Advanced Nutrients dosage table and the recommendation for your base nutrient. Note: Hammerhead is available only in Europe.
Which PK booster when
Hammerhead is an alternative to Big Bud in the role of a flowering PK enhancer - choose one of them, not both at once (two PK boosters do not stack). The early stage is handled by Bud Ignitor (weeks 1-2), while the final phase is handled by Overdrive. The flower base is supplied by Sensi Bloom A+B. You can find the full range among flowering stimulators.
Parameters
NPK: 0-4-12 (PK ratio 1:3). Potassium source: potassium citrate. Stage: flowering. Availability: Europe only. Sizes from 250 ml. Exact dosage is being verified.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Hammerhead not contain nitrogen? During the flowering stage, the plant mainly needs phosphorus and potassium, while excess nitrogen is more likely to harm flower quality and ordinary fertilisers can cause phosphorus toxicity. Hammerhead is therefore a pure PK supplement (NPK 0-4-12) with no added nitrogen - it supplies only what the flower needs at this stage and protects the plant from overfeeding with nitrogen.
Hammerhead or Big Bud? Both are flowering PK enhancers in the same role, so do not use them at the same time - choose one. Hammerhead has a pronounced PK ratio of 1:3 and potassium citrate, while Big Bud is based on a K:P ratio of 3:1. Choose according to your base nutrient and preferences, and supplement it with the Bud Ignitor starter and whole-cycle additives.
How much Hammerhead should I dose? The manufacturer does not state an official dose on the product page; distributors indicate roughly 2 ml per litre on its own during flowering. Until we find a confirmed dosage table, follow the Advanced Nutrients dosage table and do not combine Hammerhead with another PK booster at the same time, so as not to overfeed the plant.
You can find the exact dosage for individual ranges in the Advanced Nutrients dosage table.
