Begrow® growing cube made from hydrophilic rockwool (mineral wool), measuring 100 x 100 x 100 mm, gives roots plenty of space thanks to its high profile. The small hole at the top is ready for transplanting a rooted plug or young plant, which you can then grow through the entire vegetative stage and into flowering.

How to use

Soak the cube thoroughly before planting so that it becomes fully saturated. Insert a rooted plug or seedling into the small hole and place the cube on a drip tray or in a growing system. Plants that you keep in growth for longer and want to develop a strong root ball before transitioning to flowering will benefit from the higher 100 mm profile.

Which stage is the cube suitable for?

Vegetative growth and the transition to flowering. The high 100 mm profile gives roots more space than lower cubes, making it worthwhile for a longer growth stage.

What fits into the small hole?

A rooted propagation plug or young plant. If you want to insert a whole smaller cube into the cube, choose the variant with a large hole.

Do I need to monitor fertilising?

Rockwool is inert and does not bind nutrients, so the plant receives exactly what you provide in the watering. We will be happy to advise you on setting up the nutrition.
