Aqua Master Tools P700 PRO2 is a combined metre for growers who mix solution regularly and want all values at once. On one large display you can read pH, EC, CF, PPM and temperature, so you do not need to switch between two pens or recalculate anything - it is suitable for mixing nutrient solution, in hydroponics and for checking water in a swimming pool, hot tub or pond.

You switch between EC, CF and PPM with the MODE button, and between Celsius and Fahrenheit with the C/F button. You therefore read directly the unit in which your dosing chart is written. The conversion between EC and CF is fixed (CF = EC in mS/cm times 10), but with PPM always watch the scale - the same EC gives a different number on the 500 scale than on the 700 scale.

Complete set straight out of the box

You do not need to buy anything else to start measuring. The package includes a metre with an integrated rechargeable battery, a pH electrode, an EC electrode and a 6 V DC power adapter with instructions. The metre comes calibrated, so you can take your first measurements within a few minutes of unpacking.

How to use it

Plug the power supply into the socket and the connector into the device, connect the pH and EC electrodes, remove their protective caps and switch the metre on. Then immerse the electrodes in the measured liquid and stir gently until the reading stabilises.

After measuring, switch the metre off, rinse the electrodes with tap water - this reduces the transfer of residues from one solution to another - and return them to their protective caps. If you leave the electrodes permanently in the tank for continuous monitoring, regularly check whether limescale, salts or biofilm are building up on them and clean them in time, or use Cleaner D cleaning solution.

Calibration and probe care

The pH section is calibrated in two points with pH 4.0 and 7.0 solutions, conductivity in one point - Aqua Master Tools works with the EC 1.413 standard and can also be verified with 3.0 and 12.88 EC solutions. The basic equipment therefore includes pH 4 calibration solution, pH 7 and EC 1.413. Repeat calibration roughly once a month; the device has a calibration indicator that will remind you. Store the glass pH probe in KCl storage solution and never let it dry out.

When only one part of the measurement reaches the end of its life, you replace it separately: there is a replacement P700 pH probe and a replacement P700 EC electrode. Each has its own input on the device, so you will not confuse them when connecting. Always order the electrode intended specifically for the P700 PRO2 model - Aqua Master Tools electrodes are tied to a specific metre and a probe from another model may not fit.

Aqua Master Tools gives 6 months on the pH electrode and one year on the body of the device. Rinse the electrode after each measurement and keep it in KCl storage solution between measurements.
