Manual magnetic dimming without an app

M-Dimmer is a simple, reliable dimmer for those who do not want to deal with a phone or an app. You change the intensity of SANlight EVO 1.5, EVO Compact and STIXX lights by placing the magnetic key (included in the package), and the current level is shown by three green LEDs. It connects to the blue dimming connector of the light.

Why dim

In the seedling and cutting stage, plants do not need full output - by reducing it to 60 or 40 %, you save electricity and do not stress young plants with excessive light. The smooth five-minute ramp-up also prevents a sudden jump in intensity when switched on. You can then increase the output as the crop grows. M-Dimmer is a one-off investment that pays for itself in electricity savings and a calmer start to the crop.

Safe connection

M-Dimmer connects directly to the blue dimming connector of the light or STIXX driver. In tight spaces, the angled L connector for control voltage helps. Never connect it to lights with a daisy-chain output or to other cables or splitters, and never to 230 V.

Which lights does M-Dimmer fit and which does it not?

M-Dimmer is intended for SANlight EVO 1.5, EVO Compact and STIXX (except STIXX 50). It is not intended for Q-Series Gen2 or FLEX II and is not used on STIXX 50 with an integrated dimmer. It connects to the blue dimming connector of the light or driver - never to the power cable, daisy-chain output or splitters.

How does M-Dimmer work?

M-Dimmer is controlled contactlessly with the supplied magnetic key, which switches between four fixed output levels - 100, 80, 60 and 40 %. The current status is shown by three green LEDs. You control M-Dimmer manually with a magnetic key and it switches four fixed levels (100/80/60/40 %) without an app. Bluetooth Dimmer is controlled wirelessly from a phone and sets 20-100 % smoothly, including complete switch-off. Choose M-Dimmer for simple dimming without electronics, Bluetooth for remote and group control.
