Enzymes, Amino Acids, Vitamins, etc. What are they for?
These supplements conceal a wide range of different fertilisers, the content of which includes only a minimum of basic NPK fertilisers, if any at all, and it often seems that they actually contain nothing and are unnecessary. But the opposite is true. These various enzymes, amino acid supplements, minerals, vitamins, etc. work for the plant just as they do for humans and are therefore essential for plant health. Just as a person can manage for some time without vegetables and fruit as sources of fibre, vitamins and minerals, after some time they get muscle cramps when they are deficient in magnesium, feel weak from a lack of vitamins, and have intestinal problems from a lack of fibre, plants react in a similar way. If you therefore provide these vitamin and mineral supplements, your plants will reward you by being healthy, growing faster, processing the supplied nutrients better, and generally bringing you nothing but joy.
Enzyme and mineral supplements are especially important when growing in coco and in hydroponic systems, where the plant has no chance to take at least something from the soil, but is entirely dependent on what you give it in the nutrient solution. This also answers the question of why my plant grows in soil even though I do not use enzymes? Simply because the soil contains some limited amount of these enzymes and minerals, so it can somehow manage. However, it is forced to live with a limited amount, and the plant is naturally more susceptible to disease and the maximum growth rate and nutrient processing are limited. By adding these components, you will therefore significantly help the plant maximise its potential.
