Protection for small 100mm DCF4 and RCF4 filters

AC-PFC4 is a pre-filter textile sleeve that slips over 100 mm (4") carbon filters - typically DCF4 or refillable RCF4. It captures dust, hair and other dirt before they reach the activated carbon, thereby extending its service life.

Why textile, not filter

PFC4 itself has no own max. airflow rating - it is not a filter, but protection for the carbon filter against dirt. The filter itself (DCF4 or RCF4) therefore remains functional for longer regardless of how quickly the textile becomes clogged.

Material, dimensions and colour

The sleeve is made of breathable polyester with 100% air permeability, material thickness 1.5 mm (0.05"). The design is precisely shaped (pre-cut) for 4" filters, colour black, overall dimensions 17.7 x 25.0 cm.

Installation: intake vs. exhaust

The textile is fitted on the outside of the filter for intake configuration, or inside the filter chamber for exhaust configuration.

Service life and washing

The pack contains 2 sleeves. They are reusable and machine washable - recommended replacement or washing is after approx. 6 months of continuous operation.
