AC Infinity DCF12 is the largest size in the DCF range of carbon filters - an industrial inline filter with a 300 mm flange for commercial operations and ventilation systems with a high volume of extracted air. It removes odours and chemicals from extracted air.

RC412 carbon fill

The filter fill consists of Australian virgin activated carbon (Virgin Australian RC412) with a rating of 1200+ IAV in a 38 mm layer. The flange is made of aluminium, rotatable on both sides, with a corrosion-resistant galvanised steel mesh.

Package contents

The package contains 1x DCF12 carbon filter, 2x hanging strap and 2x washable pre-filter. Unlike the smaller DCF sizes (4-10 inches), the DCF12 package does not include rope clip hangers.

CLOUDLINE S12 fan

Pair the DCF12 filter with a fan and ducting of the same 300 mm diameter. Activated carbon in the ducting creates resistance and reduces the actual flow rate of the assembly - therefore the fan should be chosen with a reserve above the operational requirement:

• AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S12 - fan with 10-speed controller, 300 mm.
• Flexible four-layer ducting 300 mm - connects the filter to the fan.

For which operations is the DCF12 intended?
For commercial and high-volume ventilation systems where a high volume of air needs to be filtered - it is the largest size in the DCF range.

Why are rope clip hangers missing from the package?
DCF12 includes straps and pre-filters, but without rope clip hangers - these are included only with the smaller sizes (4-10 inches).

Which fan does the DCF12 filter fit?
It has a 300 mm flange, so it fits the CLOUDLINE S12 fan of the same diameter.

Does the filter need to have the same or higher flow rate than the fan?
Do not judge it by the filter rating. The CLOUDLINE 300 mm fan has a stated max. flow rate of 1604 CFM (approximately 2725 m3/h), the DCF12 filter 1668 CFM (2834 m3/h) - the values are close. In addition, the filter in the ducting reduces the actual flow rate of the assembly due to the resistance of the carbon, so the fan should be chosen with a reserve.
