AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S4 is a 100 mm inline fan with an airflow of 348 m3/h (205 CFM) - within the same diameter, more powerful and at the same time quieter (28 dBA) than the value model A4 (280 m3/h, 29 dBA). The difference is precisely in performance and noise, not in the type of control.

Control

The fan is connected by a 3.05 m (120 in) cable to the included 10-speed controller and works independently with it, without an app. The control cable is part of the UIS™ platform - instead of the controller, it can be connected directly to the UIS port of a smart controller (Controller 69 Pro or AI+, sold separately), which then controls the speed according to temperature, humidity and VPD and adds app control. CLOUDLINE is UIS-native and does not need an adapter.

Motor and durability

The PWM-controlled EC motor runs smoothly even at low speeds. The mixed-flow design with a stator blade maintains a static pressure of 223 Pa even when connected to a filter or longer ducting. The dual ball bearings have a service life of 67,000 hours, mounting is possible both horizontally and vertically, the motor housing can be detached for cleaning, and IP44 protection guards against dust and water.

Frequently asked questions

How does the S4 differ from the CLOUDLINE A4?
Both have a 100 mm diameter and the same type of included wired controller. The S4 has a longer controller cable (3.05 m compared with 1.83 m on the A4) and higher airflow with lower noise (205 CFM/28 dBA on the S4 vs 165 CFM/29 dBA on the A4).

Can the S4 handle a small tent with a carbon filter?
A filter in the setup increases the required airflow by approx. 60% (carbon resistance) - therefore the fan is chosen with a reserve. The S4 has higher performance (348 m3/h) than the A4 (280 m3/h), so after adding the filter, ducting and a +25% reserve, it covers a slightly larger volume than the A4 with the same reserve. You can calculate the exact figure for your tent using the formula: volume in m3 x 60, plus accessory resistance, plus 25% reserve.

Can the S4 be controlled via an app?
The included wired controller does not support the app - with it, the S4 runs independently in 10 levels. For app control, connect the control cable instead of the controller to the UIS port of a smart controller (69 Pro or AI+), which then controls the speed according to VPD.
