AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S4 is an inline fan with a diameter of 100 mm and an airflow of 348 m3/h (205 CFM) - more powerful and quieter (28 dBA) than the value model A4 (280 m3/h, 29 dBA), of the same diameter. The difference lies in performance and noise level, not in the type of control.

Control

The fan is connected via a 3.05 m (120 in) cable to the included 10-speed controller and operates independently with it, without an app. The control cable is part of the UIS™ platform - instead of the controller, it can be connected directly to the UIS port of a smart controller (Controller 69 Pro or AI+, purchased separately), which then controls the speed according to temperature, humidity and VPD and adds app control. CLOUDLINE is UIS-native and does not require an adapter.

Motor and durability

The PWM-controlled EC motor runs smoothly even at low speeds. The mixed-flow construction with a stator blade maintains a static pressure of 223 Pa even when connected to a filter or longer ducting. The double ball bearings have a lifespan of 67,000 hours, installation is possible horizontally or vertically, the motor housing can be separated for cleaning, and the IP44 rating protects against dust and water.

How does the S4 differ from the CLOUDLINE A4?
Both have a diameter of 100 mm and the same type of included wired controller. The S4 has a longer controller cable (3.05 m compared with 1.83 m for the A4) and higher airflow at a lower noise level (205 CFM/28 dBA for the S4 vs 165 CFM/29 dBA for the A4).

Can the S4 handle a small grow tent with a carbon filter?
A filter in the system increases the required airflow by approximately 60% (carbon resistance) - this is why the fan is selected with a reserve. The S4 has a higher airflow (348 m3/h) than the A4 (280 m3/h), so after allowing for the filter, ducting and a +25% reserve, it covers a slightly larger volume than the A4 with the same reserve. Calculate the exact figure for your tent using the formula: volume in m3 x 60, plus accessory resistance, plus a 25% reserve.

Can the S4 be controlled via the app?
The included wired controller does not support the app - with it, the S4 operates independently across 10 levels. For app control, connect the control cable instead of the controller to the UIS port of a smart controller (69 Pro or AI+), which then controls the speed according to VPD.
