TrolMaster WCS-3 Water Content Sensor 3 is specially designed to measure the moisture (in percent) of the growing medium. WCS-3 can be used with TrolMaster Aqua-X (NFS-1), Aqua-X Plus (NFS-3), Aqua-X Pro (NFS-2), Hydro-X Pro (HCS-2) and Tent-X (TCS-1) control systems.

Each WCS-3 sensor is a three-pin volumetric water content (VWC) sensor. To use the WCS-3 sensor, insert the three-prong sensor into the growing medium, such as coco fibre, soil or rockwool, that you want to measure. You can connect multiple medium moisture sensors to one control unit. Up to 50 WCS-3 sensors can be connected to the NFS-2 and HCS-2 control units, 20 to the NFS-3 control unit, 8 to the NFS-1 control unit and 1 sensor to the TCS-1 control unit.

Only one WCS-3 can be connected to the TCS-1. Each WCS-3 has an LCD display built into one side of the sensor, which becomes “live” and can be displayed when the sensor is shaken or disturbed. The display shows the current VWC% value directly on the sensor.
