The foundation on which the entire nutrient solution stands

Every mixing of the nutrient solution in the Terra Aquatica TriPart system starts with the Micro component. It plays the role of the foundation: it supplies a complete spectrum of microelements and sub-microelements in chelated form, as well as part of the macronutrients - nitrogen and calcium. This gives the solution a stable base, on which the TriPart Grow and TriPart Bloom components then build. Micro is used throughout the entire cultivation period - in growth and in bloom.

Hard or soft water? This is where the decision is made

Micro is the only component available in two versions, and the choice is not cosmetic - it addresses calcium in your water and prevents nutrient lockout in the root zone:

• Hard water version: for water with a calcium content above 70 mg/l. It compensates for excess minerals from the tap.
• Soft water version: for rainwater, demineralised water or reverse osmosis water, where calcium is lacking.

How to incorporate Micro into the programme

Shake the bottle before each use - the concentrate is thick. Add the components to the water tank one by one and mix the solution after each addition; the order is Micro, then Grow, finally Bloom. Never mix the concentrates directly together, as they would precipitate and the plant would not receive the nutrients. In hydroponics and coco, the Micro dose ranges roughly from 0.5 ml/l for young roots to 2 ml/l in pre-bloom and 1.6 ml/l in full bloom.

When is Micro used?

Throughout the entire cultivation period - in the growth and bloom stages. Unlike the Grow and Bloom components, whose ratio changes, Micro forms the constant base of the solution.

How do I know which version to buy?

Calcium in the water is the deciding factor. Above 70 mg/l (hard tap water), choose the hard water version; for rainwater, demineralised or osmosis-treated water, choose the soft water version.

Can I use Micro on its own as the only fertiliser?

No, Micro is the basis of the system - the full programme is only formed together with the TriPart Grow component for growth and the TriPart Bloom component for bloom.
