TriPart starter set for hard water
Terra Aquatica 3-pack TriPart for hard water combines the complete three-part system in one great-value pack and also includes powder for lowering pH. It is prepared for water with a higher calcium content, as found in most mains water supplies.
When to choose the hard-water version
The difference between the two sets is the Micro component. This one contains TriPart Micro formulated for hard water, meaning a calcium content above 70 mg/l. If you grow with soft water or reverse osmosis, choose the soft-water set instead. The correctly selected Micro version keeps calcium in solution at an optimum level and prevents the lockouts and deficiencies that universal fertilisers can cause.
How the system works
With three bottles, you can manage the entire cycle and adjust the ratio of the components according to the phase - during growth, TriPart Grow predominates, while during flowering it is TriPart Bloom. Add the components to the water in the order Micro, Grow, Bloom, mixing each one separately, and only then adjust the pH using the supplied powder. Never mix the concentrates directly with one another.
