Blomgrow Biochar+ – biochar enriched with beneficial microorganisms

Blomgrow Biochar+ is a Finnish soil optimiser that combines high-quality biochar with the microbial blend Microbe Shot™. It helps improve the structure of the growing medium, supports microorganism activity in the root zone and creates favourable conditions for healthy root system development.

Thanks to its porous structure, biochar has a very large active surface area that helps retain nutrients and provides a suitable environment for colonisation by beneficial microorganisms. Biochar+ is already microbially enriched, so it does not need to be activated separately before use.

Microbe Shot™ – microbial support for the root zone

Biochar+ contains the Microbe Shot™ blend, which includes beneficial soil bacteria and a high concentration of mycorrhizal fungi – 5000 spores per gram. After the product is mixed into the growing medium, the microorganisms can gradually spread into the immediate surroundings of the roots.

The combination of microorganisms and the porous structure of biochar creates an environment that supports the biological activity of the substrate and more efficient use of available nutrients.

How to use Biochar+?

Mix Biochar+ thoroughly with the growing medium. The product is suitable for use in soil and coco substrates.

For best results, Biochar+ should be distributed primarily in the area of the future root system, so that the plant roots can come into contact with the biochar and the microorganisms it contains as soon as possible after planting.

Dosage

Mix approximately 5–10% Biochar+ into the total volume of the growing medium.

When used at a ratio of 1 : 10, one part Biochar+ corresponds to approximately ten parts soil or coco substrate.
