P160 is the most fully equipped in the pen range - from a single probe you get pH, conductivity and conversion to PPM and TDS. The replacement electrode AMT1019 restores the original reliability of all these readings.

Compatibility

The electrode fits the P160 PRO models and P160 PRO 2.0.

Replacement probes in this range are made to measure for individual models, so do not fit it to other measuring pens.

Five readings from one probe

The pen calculates the PPM and TDS values from the measured conductivity, so all five readings come from a single electrode. The AMT1019 replacement part therefore restores all five values at once.

Calibration after replacement

After fitting, align the pH side with pH 4 solutions and pH 7 solutions, and check the conductivity side using EC 1,413 solution.

Storage and warranty

Store it dry, without KCl solution; the only thing the probe needs from you is rinsing with clean water after each measurement and time to dry. The electrode has a 6-month warranty from purchase and can be claimed within this period.

Frequently asked questions

Do I also need to calibrate PPM and TDS after replacement?

Not separately. The pen calculates PPM and TDS from the measured conductivity, so it is enough to calibrate the conductivity part with EC 1,413 solution and the pH side with pH 4 and pH 7 solutions. The conversion then comes from the correctly measured value. If you record PPM in your logs, note the scale used as well - there is no universal conversion between EC and PPM.

Is the probe from the P160 the same as from the P110?

No. The P160 uses part AMT1019, while the P110 uses AMT1014, and they cannot be interchanged. The pens differ in what they can display: the P160 also calculates PPM and TDS. Before ordering, therefore, check the type designation directly on your metre.
