P160 is the most fully equipped model in the pen range – a single probe provides pH, conductivity, and conversion to PPM and TDS. The AMT1019 spare electrode restores the original reliability of all these readings.

Compatibility

The electrode is designed for the P160 PRO and P160 PRO 2.0 models.

Replacement probes for this range are made to fit individual models, so do not install it in other measuring pens.

Five readings from one probe

The pen calculates PPM and TDS values from the measured conductivity, so all five readings come from a single electrode. The AMT1019 spare part therefore restores all five values at once.

Calibration after replacement

After fitting, calibrate the pH side with pH 4 and pH 7 solutions, and check the conductivity side using the EC 1.413 solution.

Storage and warranty

Store it dry, without KCl solution; all the probe requires is rinsing with clean water after each measurement and some time to dry. The electrode has a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase and can be claimed within this period.

Frequently asked questions

Do I also need to calibrate PPM and TDS after replacement?

No, not separately. The pen calculates PPM and TDS from the measured conductivity, so it is sufficient to calibrate the conductivity section with an EC 1.413 solution and the pH side with pH 4 and pH 7 solutions. The conversion is then based on the correctly measured value. If you record PPM values, note the scale used as well – there is no universal conversion between EC and PPM.

Is the probe from the P160 the same as the one from the P110?

No. The P160 uses the AMT1019 spare part, while the P110 uses AMT1014, and they cannot be interchanged. The pens differ in what they can display: the P160 also calculates PPM and TDS. Before ordering, therefore, check the model designation directly on your metre.
