Prima Klima K2600 - clean, odour-free extraction (125 mm flange)

The proven medium-sized Eco Line K2600 classic with a 125 mm connection removes odours from the extraction system without creating significant pressure resistance. The Prima Klima K2600 activated carbon odour filter from the Eco Line range captures odour molecules in a 3 cm bed of highly activated carbon, so only clean, odour-free air leaves the extraction system. The 125 mm flange connects to ducting and a fan of the same diameter - keep the filter, ducting and fan at the same 125 mm diameter. It is suitable for a tent of approximately up to 80x80 cm at an airflow of up to 360 m3/h (optimally around 240 m3/h).

How the carbon filter works

Activated carbon works like a battery: air passes through the carbon bed and organic odour molecules are captured in its microporous structure. Quality is determined by the CTC value and iodine number (how much material the carbon absorbs), together with the bed thickness - the longer the air remains in contact with the carbon, the more effectively odours are removed. Prima Klima fills the Eco Line with anthracite CTC75 pellets (3mm), which have low pressure resistance and perform well even at higher humidity. Once exhausted, the carbon can be topped up or replaced; the entire filter does not need to be discarded.

You can easily calculate the required airflow: multiply the room volume (length x width x height in metres) by 60 and compare the result with the filter's maximum capacity. It is compatible with any 125 mm fan with the corresponding output; within the Eco Line range, it is followed by the smaller K2600mini 240 m3/h and the larger K2601 480 m3/h.

How long does the carbon last?

Service life depends on the load and airflow - higher airflow means a shorter service life (roughly twice the airflow = half the service life), approximately several months to over a year under normal operation. Therefore, run the filter only when odours are noticeable and reduce the airflow where possible; the carbon will then last significantly longer.

Can the carbon be replaced?
