Whisperblower EC-THC 125 mm - a silenced fan that controls its climate itself

Do you want a 125 mm extract fan that keeps an eye on both temperature and humidity on its own, and you do not need to buy any extra box for it? Whisperblower EC-THC combines a silenced housing, an ebm-papst EC motor and built-in electronics with a temperature and humidity sensor. The 800 m3/h output handles a fitted filter, and the speed adjusts to the climate automatically.

Why Whisperblower is quieter

Whisperblower is not a standard fan with an additional silencer. It is a silenced design with a redesigned aerodynamics of the housing and impeller, developed in cooperation with ebm-papst. Air inside flows like on a roller coaster - the new channel geometry creates higher pressure and airflow at the same energy efficiency and at the same time reduces noise compared with the standard range of the same diameter.

What the ebm-papst EC motor does

The EC motor is an electronically commutated motor with electronics integrated directly into the housing. It stands out for low power use, quiet operation and smooth speed control. Unlike cheap phase control with AC motors, energy is not lost on the way to the motor, so the fan runs efficiently and without unnecessary humming. EC is a type of motor, not a way of connecting it to something else.

Control by temperature and humidity

The highest level of control in the range. Built-in electronics with a sensor monitors both temperature and relative humidity and smoothly adjusts the speed, so the climate in the space stays within the chosen limits without an external controller. Everything is integrated directly in the fan.

Always choose the same diameter for the fan, filter flange and ducting - in this model, 125 mm. A carbon filter increases the resistance of the set-up, so size the fan with a reserve above the needs of the growing space and match the filter and ducting to the same 125 mm diameter. Otherwise, mismatched diameters add unnecessary resistance, reduce performance and increase noise.
