The odour filter is the ideal accessory for any indoor ventilation system. The Prima Klima Eco line K2601 filter with an air flow of 360/480 m3/h is characterised by easy installation and high reliability. It is used to clean intake or extract air of unwanted odours by means of physical and chemical adsorption. Activated carbon from coconut shells effectively absorbs odours caused by industrial production, as well as food, kitchen, cremation or other activities. The filter is filled with activated coconut carbon and lined with a white F5 pre-filter. The service life of the activated carbon depends on the amount of contamination in the filtered air and the surrounding conditions, and is usually around 9 months. The filter can be connected horizontally or vertically. The Prima Klima filter allows fans to work more efficiently than competing carbon filters.

In dusty environments, it is worth vacuuming the pre-filter regularly. High humidity or dustiness reduces the filter's service life. The pre-filter is included in the package.

Calculation for selecting a suitable filter
We calculate the air volume in the room by multiplying the room length (m) by the room width (m) and the ceiling height (m).
For example: A room 4 m long, 3 m wide and 2 m high => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3
We multiply the resulting air volume by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour), which tells us how much air needs to be cleaned in 1 hour.
We compare the result with the maximum output of the selected filter. If its max. output is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the given space.

How to choose a suitable fan:
The fan should always have a lower maximum output than the maximum capacity of the filter. This ensures that neither the filter nor the fan is overloaded and both components perform their function as they should.
