Prima Klima K2600mini - clean, odour-free extraction (100 mm flange)

The smallest member of the Eco Line range for extracting air from small tents reliably ensures that no odour escapes into the room. The Prima Klima K2600mini carbon odour filter from the Eco Line range captures odour molecules in a 3 cm-deep bed of highly activated carbon, so only clean, odour-free air leaves the extraction system. The 100 mm flange connects to ducting and a fan of the same diameter - keep the filter, ducting and fan at the same 100 mm diameter. It is suitable for tents measuring approximately 60 x 60 to 80 x 80 cm at an airflow of up to 240 m3/h (ideally around 160 m3/h).

How the carbon filter works

Activated carbon works like a battery: air passes through the carbon bed and organic odour molecules are captured in its microporous structure. Quality is determined by the CTC value and iodine number (how many substances the carbon absorbs), together with the bed thickness - the longer the air remains in contact with the carbon, the more effectively the odour is removed. Prima Klima fills the Eco Line with anthracite CTC75 pellets (3 mm), which have low resistance to airflow and cope well with higher humidity. Once exhausted, the carbon can be topped up or replaced; the entire filter does not need to be discarded.

Choose a 100 mm fan with an output of up to 240 m3/h - for example, a Prima Klima 100 mm fan. The filter is suitable for tents measuring approximately 60 x 60 to 80 x 80 cm. You can easily calculate the required airflow: multiply the room volume (length x width x height in metres) by 60 and compare the result with the filter's maximum output. It is compatible with any 100 mm fan with a suitable output; in the Eco Line range, it is followed by the 125 mm version and the larger K2600 with an airflow of 360 m3/h.

How long does the carbon last?

Service life depends on the load and airflow - higher airflow means a shorter service life (approximately twice the airflow = half the service life), ranging from several months to more than a year under normal operation. Therefore, run the filter only when odour is noticeable and preferably reduce the airflow; the carbon will then last significantly longer.

Can the carbon be replaced?

Yes, the filter is refillable - once the carbon is exhausted, simply top up or replace the filling and the filter body can continue to be used. Vacuum the pre-filter occasionally to extend the carbon's service life. You can find other sizes among the carbon filters.
