Prima Klima K2600mini is an Eco Line carbon odour filter with a 125 mm flange and a 3 cm bed of CTC75 activated carbon. It reliably removes odour from the extract at a flow rate of up to 240 m3/h, suitable, approximately, for a tent of around 60x60 to 80x80 cm.

Detailed information

Product detailed description

Prima Klima K2600mini - clean extract without odour (125 mm flange)

The compact Eco Line K2600mini with a 125 mm flange removes odour from a small tent and lets only clean air leave the extract. The Prima Klima K2600mini carbon odour filter from the Eco Line range captures odour molecules in a 3 cm deep bed of highly active carbon, so only clean air without odour leaves the extract. The 125 mm flange connects to ducting and a fan of the same diameter - keep the filter, ducting and fan at one 125 mm diameter. It can handle, approximately, a tent of around 60x60 to 80x80 cm at a flow rate of up to 240 m3/h (optimally around 160 m3/h).

How the carbon filter works

Activated carbon works like a battery: air passes through the carbon bed and organic odour molecules are captured in its microporous structure. Quality is determined by the CTC value and iodine number (how much material the carbon absorbs) together with the bed thickness - the longer the air is in contact with the carbon, the better the odour is broken down. Prima Klima fills the Eco Line with anthracite CTC75 pellets (3 mm), which have low pressure resistance and also cope well with higher humidity. Once exhausted, the carbon can be topped up or replaced; the whole filter is not thrown away.

Technical parameters

  • Flange diameter: 125 mm
  • Maximum flow rate: 240 m3/h
  • Optimal flow rate: 160 m3/h
  • Filter diameter: 180 mm
  • Length without flange: 180 mm
  • Activated carbon: 0.8 kg (CTC75, 3 cm bed layer)
  • Weight: 1.7 kg
  • Dust pre-filter included in the package
  • Carbon lifespan: depends on load and flow rate (higher flow rate = shorter lifespan), approximately months to over a year in normal operation
  • Horizontal and vertical installation; operating temperature 10 to 70 °C

Which fan and tent it suits

Choose a 125 mm fan with an output of up to 240 m3/h - for example the Prima Klima 125 mm fan. The filter is suitable, approximately, for a tent of around 60x60 to 80x80 cm. You can easily calculate the required flow rate: multiply the room volume (length x width x height in metres) by 60 and compare the result with the filter's maximum output. It is compatible with any 125 mm fan with the corresponding output; in the Eco Line range it is followed by the 100 mm version larger K2600 with a flow rate of 360 m3/h.

Frequently asked questions

Which filter suits my fan and tent?

Diameter and flow rate matter: the filter flange matches the diameter of the fan and ducting, here 125 mm. This model can handle, approximately, a tent of around 60x60 to 80x80 cm and a flow rate of up to 240 m3/h. A larger filter means more carbon and a longer lifespan, while a smaller one saves space.

How long does the carbon last?

Lifespan depends on load and flow rate - a higher flow rate means a shorter lifespan (roughly double the flow rate = half the lifespan), approximately months to over a year in normal operation. Therefore, run the filter only when odour is noticeable, and slow the flow rate down rather than up; the carbon will then last significantly longer.

Can the carbon be replaced?

Yes, the filter is refillable - once the carbon is exhausted, simply top up or replace the filling and the filter body continues to serve. Vacuum the pre-filter occasionally to extend the carbon's lifespan. You can find other sizes among the carbon filters.
