PRO-MIX HP Mycorrhizae+Bacillus by Premier Tech is a professional soilless growing medium with high porosity, designed for plants sensitive to overwatering, rooting cuttings and growing in conditions with lower light intensity. The combination of fibrous Sphagnum peat moss (65–75 %) and a high proportion of coarse perlite ensures excellent drainage, high air porosity and low water-holding capacity. The medium contains two biologically active additives: a mycorrhizal inoculant (AGTIV REACH – Glomus intraradices), which forms a symbiosis with the roots, and the bacterium Bacillus pumilus, which reduces the occurrence of root diseases.

How to use

Lightly crumble the contents of the pack in a container, or pre-moisten slightly if necessary (do not soak). Fill containers or planters without compacting the medium. After planting, water thoroughly until water flows out through the holes in the base. Allow the medium to dry before watering again – the surface changes colour from dark brown (wet) to light brown (time to water). Repeated use of the medium is not recommended.

Is the medium soilless?

Yes, PRO-MIX HP contains no mineral soil – it is a pure peat-based medium.

Can the medium be reused?

The manufacturer does not recommend reuse – the chemical and physical properties change, the effectiveness of the wetting agent decreases and there is a risk of transferring root diseases.

Is it suitable for seeds?

PRO-MIX HP is suitable for transplanting seedlings. For seed germination, Premier Tech recommends PRO-MIX FPX.
