Plagron Batmix 50 l
Code: PLBM50Related products
Product detailed description
Plagron Batmix is a high-quality mix containing the best types of peat. This pre-fertilised substrate is composed of white peat, black peat, fibrous peat, perlite, vermicompost, organic NPK fertilisers in a 3-15-4 ratio and bat manure. The perlite and fibrous peat improve the structure, increase aeration, lightness and oxygenation. A sufficient amount of vermicompost ensures strong plant growth and an increased ability to retain water.
Pre-fertilisation and when to start fertilising
The main source of nutrients in Batmix is bat manure (Bat Guano), rich in phosphorus and potassium. Water the substrate well before use. The nourishing components provide plants with enough nutrients for 6 weeks of the cycle. Thanks to Batmix, plants are more resilient, flowers are fuller and fruits have a better aroma and taste.
Recommended fertilisers
From the root phase, you can add Power Roots. After approximately 6 weeks, continue with the 100% Terra base (Terra Grow, Terra Bloom) or 100% Natural (Alga Grow, Alga Bloom).

Frequently asked questions
When should I start fertilising in Batmix?
Bat manure and organic fertilisers in the substrate cover the plant's needs for approx. 6 weeks, then top up fertilising as needed.
What should I use to fertilise Batmix?
After the pre-fertilisation has worn off, continue with the base Terra Grow / Terra Bloom or Alga Grow / Alga Bloom, and from the start also Power Roots.
How long does the pre-fertilisation last?
Approximately 6 weeks - the phosphorus and potassium from bat manure also support fuller flowers.
