When you need an even larger diameter and a constant huge airflow, the Blue Line PK355/400-EC comes into play. Metal body made of galvanised steel, ebm-papst EC motor and 4400 m3/h draw through a 355 mm flange. Built for non-stop operation in a commercial growing room with a lifespan of over 80,000 hours.

What the ebm-papst EC motor does

An EC motor is an electronically commutated motor with electronics integrated directly into the body. It stands out for low consumption, quiet operation and smooth speed control. Unlike cheap phase control on AC motors, energy is not lost on the way to the motor, so the fan runs efficiently and without unnecessary humming. EC is a type of motor, not a way of connecting it to anything else.

Why Blue Line and why this price

For commercial extraction, the cheapest solution is not the cheapest operation. Blue Line offers a robust metal housing resistant even in increased humidity, an ebm-papst EC motor with smooth control and low consumption at high output, and durability built for years. Matching with filter and ducting

Always choose the same diameter for the fan, filter flange and ducting - in this model 355/400 mm. A carbon filter increases the resistance of the system, so size the fan with a reserve above the needs of the growing space and match the filter and ducting to the same 355/400 mm diameter. Otherwise, mismatched diameters add unnecessary resistance, reduce performance and increase noise.

Which Blue Line to choose

The smaller EC version of the range is the Blue Line PK300/315-EC 4250 m3/h, the most powerful is the Blue Line 6000 m3/h. The cheaper AC version of the same size can be found as Blueline PK355/400 4150 m3/h.

What to buy with the fan

Yes, it has a double flange 355/400 mm. However, choose the filter and ducting to the corresponding diameter so that unnecessary resistance does not arise.
