A biological insecticide made from an extract of the tropical plant Azadirachta indica against the substrate weevil, which prevents the caterpillar from transforming into an adult and stops the caterpillars from feeding.

Mode of action
Azadirachtin stops the transformation of the caterpillar into an adult and stops the stinging. Within a few hours after application, the pests cease to be active and therefore do not cause further damage. The larvae react by inhibiting feeding and development and subsequent mortality. Imagoes (beetles) show inhibition of feeding, infertility and, to a lesser extent, mortality. Criteria for evaluating efficacy are the size or number of stings, leaf damage, honeydew production in insect larvae, and the evolution of pest population densities.

Dosage:
- by drenching at a rate of 3 ml per 0.5-1 l of water per 10 m2

It can also be used 3 days before the bioagens are put into the greenhouse.
