Product detailed description
A biological insecticidal preparation from extract of the tropical plant Azadirachta indica against fungus gnats in the substrate, which prevents the larva from turning into an adult and stops larval feeding.
Mode of action
Azadirachtin stops the larva from turning into an adult and stops feeding. Within a few hours after application of the product, the pests stop being active and therefore no longer cause damage. Larvae respond with inhibition of feeding and development, followed by mortality. Adults (beetles) show inhibition of feeding, sterility and, to a lesser extent, mortality. The criterion for assessing effectiveness is the size, or quantity, of feeding damage, leaf damage, honeydew formation in sucking insects, or the development of pest population density.
Dosage:
- by watering at a ratio of 3 ml per 0.5-1 l of water per 10 m2
It can also be used 3 days before introducing biological control agents into the greenhouse.
