Detailed information

Product detailed description

Kale (curly kale, jarmuz) is one of the home-grown vegetables that people in our conditions have cultivated for centuries, and it has long been known to contain a range of beneficial substances and to be rich in nutrients and elements. However, it became a forgotten and now rediscovered vegetable, which is included among superfoods, i.e. foods that have an incredibly beneficial effect on the functioning of the human body. The RED variety has a slightly spicy taste and an attractive, decorative red colour. The sprouts taste good, but they also look good on the plate as a side dish and suitably complement various salads. They can also be used in soups or for garnishing potatoes.

These sprouts are ideal for preparing most salads or side dishes, spreads, or just on bread with cottage cheese or butter or eggs.

Kale contains a range of vitamins, with vitamin C clearly dominating (far more than citrus fruits) and vitamin K (a significant effect on blood clotting); it also contains a range of minerals, the most important of which are iron, phosphorus and potassium. This combination of minerals is ideal for your blood. They ensure enough haemoglobin and thus have an effect on good blood circulation – you will not suffer from muscle cramps. It has a high calcium content, which affects the quality and structure of bones, nails and teeth.

Kale sprouts contain a lot of fibre, which improves digestion, helps against constipation, cleanses the intestines, and kale has the ability to bind heavy metals and remove them from the body. It supports the body when using diets to address excess weight. It also contains a range of enzymes, and the magnesium contained has a beneficial effect on the psyche; it is an important dietary food not only in the form of sprouts but also as part of a low-calorie diet. According to current research, the substances contained in kale, when consumed regularly, are associated with protecting the body against cancer, preventing cancerous tumours and strengthening the human body's immune system.

Regular consumption of various vegetable sprouts reduces the risk of heart attacks, contains antioxidants and substances that act against the formation of cancer cells, and generally regulates the body's functions and reduces the amount of bad cholesterol.

If we do not consume it raw, a little oil in a pan and sautéing the sprout mixture is enough. This is how it is served as a side dish; we can mix it with cooked rice, noodles, or sautéed meat cut into slices. We recommend it both for direct consumption and for further processing.

WE RINSE THE SPROUTS WITH WATER AT LEAST 2 X A DAY.
