Gold Label - Dosage Charts
How should you dose Gold Label fertilisers? Here is a proven method!
- The dosage depends on the fertiliser range you have chosen according to the growing method and, above all, the substrate.
- We recommend combining Gold Label fertilisers with substrates from this excellent Dutch manufacturer. The individual substrates directly define the application of the individual Gold Label fertilisers. Choose a growing plan according to the substrate (see below) and the results will amaze you!
- The doses of the individual fertilisers, stated in the growing plan in millilitres, are intended to be mixed into one litre of water.
- Do not forget that in the final week of the growing cycle it is important to carry out the so-called flush or flushing. At this stage, do not add any of the standard fertilisers to the water, because the growing medium still contains a nutrient-rich so-called stock solution. This will result in exceptionally healthy fruits with excellent flavour, as no residues of salts or other undesirable substances will remain in the crop.
- For indoor cultivation in a grow box, all tables also include the recommended lighting period.
- Dosing fertiliser according to the table and the manufacturer’s instructions minimises the risk of over-fertilisation. Nevertheless, we recommend continuously checking how the plants are doing during the growing cycle, as each of them has its own individual needs.
- Our TIP: For better watering and improved nutrient management, it is worth using filters and reverse osmosis units Growmax.
When to add and when to reduce?
- You may temporarily reduce the intensity of fertilisation if you notice typical symptoms associated with an excess of nutrients. These are most often indicated by yellowing leaves, spots on their edges, or a white surface on the substrate.
- If you notice that the plant, on the other hand, is lacking nutrients, it is advisable to start fertilising a little more. If the plant is growing unnaturally slowly and its leaves are smaller than is usual for the given species, it may probably be undernourished. In such a case, you can try increasing the intensity of fertilisation and monitor whether this has a positive effect on the plant and whether it begins to thrive better.
Growing plan for cultivation in soil: Special Mix
- Be careful when dosing the highly concentrated products ULTRA PK and ULTRA MG, so that you maintain balance in the levels of N-P-K in the nutrient solution.
- Always adapt the plan to the specific type of plant or agricultural crop being grown.
- In the case of a flowering phase lasting 8 or 9 weeks, exclude weeks 6 to 7 from the plan, or only week 7.
- The optimal pH level is 5.8 until the end of week 4. From week 5 until flushing 6.2.
- The ideal lighting period during germination is 18 – 24 hours per day. During rooting, 18 hours per day, and during the second week of the growth phase the light requirement gradually decreases to 12 hours by the end of the growing cycle.
Germination (first 3 – 4 days)
- Apply only the Roots stimulator in an amount of 0.25 ml.
Rooting (first 9 – 10 days)
- Apply only the Roots stimulator in an amount of 0.5 ml.
Vegetative phase (1st and 2nd week)
- Apply only the Roots stimulator in an amount of 0.5 ml.
Transition (3rd week)
- Apply the Roots stimulator in an amount of 0.5 ml.
- Add the basic two-component nutrition for cultivation in soil Soil A+B, both components in an amount of 0.5 ml.
- At the same amount, also add ULTRA MG and Enzyme to the watering.
Start of flowering (4th week)
- Dose all fertilisers the same as in the previous week, only exclude Enzyme this week. (You will use Enzyme every other week.)
Flowering (5th week)
- Apply the Roots stimulator in an amount of 0.5 ml.
- Increase the dose of both components of the basic nutrition to 1 ml.
- Also add ULTRA MG and Enzyme to the watering, both products at a dose of 0.5 ml.
- Also add ULTRA PK to the watering. Start with a dose of 0.25 ml.
Flowering (6th week)
- Exclude the Roots stimulator by the end of the growing cycle.
- Increase the dose of ULTRA PK to 0.5 ml.
- Keep the dose of both components of the basic nutrition at 1 ml.
- Exclude Enzyme this week.
Flowering (7th to 9th week)
- Increase the dose of both components of the basic nutrition to 1.5 ml.
- Dose the other fertilisers the same as before, but Enzyme only in weeks 7 and 9.
Flowering (10th week)
- Reduce the dose of both components of the basic nutrition to 1 ml.
- Apply ULTRA PK in an amount of 0.5 ml.
Flowering (11th week)
- Flush the plants with clean water.
