The Milwaukee EC40 hand-held EC metre is a great alternative to the Bluelab Truncheon at a favourable price. A reliable and accurate measuring instrument with automatic temperature compensation is waterproof, so it can also be used to stir nutrient solution. It also does not require calibration.
