The CAN-Special range of carbon filters was designed to meet high expectations in the demanding conditions of industrial operations while also being available at an affordable price.

Can-Special odour filters with an optimum airflow of 1700 m3/h are a special lightweight range of filters from Can Filters, specialising in the filtration of unwanted odours using activated carbon. This range is characterised by its low weight, thanks to lightweight CKV-4 activated carbon pellets (1 L of pelleted carbon weighs approximately 500 g), and its compact dimensions. The service life of the filter media is approximately 24 months, depending on the environment. To ensure the activated carbon odour filter works effectively, it is important to select the appropriate type of activated carbon and activation process. The controlled grain size and high porosity of the activated carbon enable an even airflow and capture more than 99% of unwanted odours.

This filter can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions.

The operating air temperature is from 10 °C to 80 °C, with air humidity of 0–80%.

Calculating the appropriate filter size
Calculate the air volume in the room by multiplying the room length (m) by the room width (m) and ceiling height (m).
Example: A room 4 m long, 3 m wide and with a ceiling height of 2 m => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3 
Multiply the resulting air volume by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour) to determine how much air needs to be purified in 1 hour.
Compare the result with the maximum output of the selected filter. If its maximum output is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the space in question.
