The CAN-Special range of carbon filters was designed to meet high expectations in demanding industrial conditions while remaining available at a favourable price.

Can-Speciál odour filters with an optimal air flow of 1000 m3/h are a special lightweight range of filters from Can Filters, which specialises in filtering unwanted odours using activated carbon. This range is characterised by low weight, thanks to the lightweight activated pellet carbon CKV-4 (1 litre of pelletised carbon weighs approx. 500 g) and small dimensions. The service life of the filter filling is approx. 24 months depending on the environment. For the odour filter with activated carbon to work properly, it is important to choose the appropriate type of activated carbon and activation process. Controlled coarseness and high porosity of the activated carbon allow even airflow and capture more than 99% of unwanted odours.

This filter can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions.

The operating air temperature is from 10°C - 80°C and air humidity 0 - 80%.

Calculation for selecting the appropriate filter
We calculate the air volume in the room by multiplying the room length (m) by the room width (m) and the ceiling height (m).
For example: A room 4 m long, 3 m wide and 2 m high => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3 
We multiply the resulting air volume by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour), which tells us how much air needs to be purified in 1 hour.
We compare the result with the maximum output of the selected filter. If its max. output is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the given space.
