The BioNova CocoBrick compressed coconut briquette is used to prepare 10 litres of coconut substrate, ready for use after adding 3.5 to 4 litres of water. The volume of the briquette increases approximately 10-fold as a result. Thanks to its initial size, this substrate is easy to transport.

Instructions for use

Fill a bucket or tank with 3.5 to 4 litres of water. Leave one briquette block to swell in the water. Mix the mixture thoroughly and after approximately 30 minutes you will have around 10 litres of substrate ready for use.

CocoBrick is shipped as 1 piece, packed in quantities of 6 in a transport bag or 24 pieces in one box.

How to fertilise the substrate

Coconut substrate does not contain a supply of nutrients itself, so fertilise from the first watering. We recommend the two-component fertiliser Coco Forte A+B, designed specifically for coconut substrates, together with PK 13-14 throughout the flowering period. When watering with soft or RO water, supplement the substrate with Ca 15 and MgO 10.
