Product detailed description

OG Organics Big Bud Liquid from Advanced Nutrients is an organic flower booster for the flowering phase. It supplies plants with phosphorus and potassium in a K:P ratio of 2:1, together with biologically available amino acids, helping flowers develop more volume - without synthetic salts.

What Big Bud Liquid contains

The base consists of fish protein hydrolysate as a source of amino acids, together with calcium lignosulphonate (a natural complex form of calcium), iron in an amino acid complex, magnesium and sulphur. Phosphorus and potassium in a 2:1 ratio (twice as much potassium as phosphorus) are the key ingredients for flower formation. OMRI and CDFA-OIM certification confirms that it contains purely natural materials suitable for organic growing.

Dosage and use

The dose is 2 ml per litre of water. Start using Big Bud Liquid from the 2nd week of the flowering phase and apply it together with an organic base for the period during which the plant is setting and swelling its flowers.

Where it fits in the AN range

Big Bud Liquid is a booster - it needs a base fertiliser underneath it. In an organic regime, use it with Iguana Juice Organic Bloom. If you grow with mineral (salt-based) fertilisers, choose the classic version, Big Bud Liquid, for coco use Big Bud Coco Liquid, or choose the powdered Big Bud Powder. Do not confuse the organic and mineral versions - they differ in their ingredients, not just their labels.

Frequently asked questions

When should I start dosing Big Bud Liquid to avoid overfertilising?
Start using Big Bud Liquid from the 2nd week of the flowering phase, not earlier - at the beginning of flowering, the plant is only switching its mode and premature dosing serves no purpose. The dose is 2 ml per litre of water together with an organic base. Use it for the period during which the flowers are forming and swelling, as a regular part of watering.

What is the difference between organic and classic Big Bud?
Organic OG Organics Big Bud Liquid obtains phosphorus, potassium (in a K:P ratio of 2:1) and other substances from purely natural ingredients, such as fish protein hydrolysate, and carries OMRI and CDFA-OIM certification. Classic Big Bud (in both liquid and powdered form) is mineral-based. Choose according to your programme - the organic version for organic growing, and the mineral version for salt-based fertilisers.

Which base should Big Bud Liquid be combined with?
As a booster, Big Bud Liquid needs a base fertiliser beneath it to provide complete nutrition. In an organic regime, it is ideally paired with the base fertiliser Iguana Juice Organic Bloom for the flowering phase. The booster then specifically strengthens flower formation. Do not combine two flower boosters with the same role at the same time, to avoid overdosing phosphorus and potassium.

For precise dosing for individual ranges, see the Advanced Nutrients dosing table.
