Hobbyist pack COCO is a set of four supplements from Advanced Nutrients assembled for growing in coconut substrate. It differs from the standard Hobbyist pack in that, instead of classic Big Bud, it contains Big Bud Coco - a bloom booster optimised directly for coco. The set complements the base nutrition; it does not replace it.

Why the coco version

Coco is a great medium, but it behaves differently from soil - it binds calcium and magnesium and dries out more quickly. The supplements therefore make the most sense in a version tailored to coco. The four products cover the root phase, bud development, resilience and late bloom, so you do not have to put them together yourself and keep track of what belongs with what. If you grow in soil or hydroponics, choose the standard Hobbyist pack.

What is in the pack

• Voodoo Juice - a microbial root stimulator with four bacterial strains; for the first two weeks of vegetative growth and bloom, 2 ml/l.
• Big Bud Coco - a bloom booster optimised for coco, for larger and denser flowers; weeks 2 to 5 of bloom.
• B-52 - a biostimulant with B vitamins and kelp that strengthens the plant against stress; vegetative growth and bloom, 2 ml/l.
• Overdrive - a booster for the late bloom stage, triggering a second wave of flowering in the final weeks.

Nutrition for coco

For the supplements you need a coco-specific base. From the Advanced Nutrients range for coco, pH Perfect Sensi Grow Coco A+B follows in vegetative growth and Sensi Bloom Coco A+B in bloom, with the calcium and magnesium ratio tuned for coco. What is the difference compared with the standard Hobbyist pack?
The coco version contains Big Bud Coco - a bloom booster optimised directly for coconut substrate. The standard Hobbyist pack has classic Big Bud Liquid, which is more suitable for soil and hydroponics. The remaining three supplements (Voodoo Juice, B-52, Overdrive) are the same in both sets. Choose according to what you grow in.

Is Hobbyist pack COCO a complete nutrition?
No. It is a set of four supplements, for which you need a basic coco base. For root, flower and resilience development, add pH Perfect Sensi Grow Coco and Bloom Coco A+B, which are tailored specifically for coco. The set therefore improves the programme, but does not replace complete fertilisation.

Do I need Cal-Mag in coco?
Coco binds calcium and magnesium, so Cal-Mag is useful, especially when watering with soft or reverse osmosis water. The coco bases pH Perfect Sensi Coco already have the calcium and magnesium ratio adjusted for coco, but at the first signs of deficiency it is advisable to add Cal-Mag. Dose according to the plant's response.
