AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp, Duct Coupler with Stainless Steel Clamps, 150 mm

Product detailed description

Airtight, vibration-free connection for 150 mm systems

AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp RCA6 is a rubber duct coupler with a diameter of 6" (15.2 cm), designed for connecting two ends of ventilation ducting, filter ports or fan ports in medium-sized systems. The flexible rubber absorbs sound waves from the fan and airflow directly at the connection point, while the joint is also airtight.

Construction

The coupler is made from NBR grade 65A nitrile rubber in a matt black colour – flexible, durable and easy to stretch over ports and pipes. It is tightened with two adjustable stainless steel hose clamps with a worm-drive lock; the screw head can be tightened with both a Phillips and flat-head screwdriver.

Where to install the 150 mm coupler

Use it to connect ducting, carbon filters, inline fans, grilles or dampers with a diameter of 6" – in a grow tent, grow room or HVAC system. Combine the system with other parts of the same diameter:

• AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S6 – 150 mm inline fan.
• DCF6 Carbon Filter – odour filter of the same diameter.
• 150 mm Flexible Four-Layer Ducting – connects the filter to the fan.
• DCA6-2 Replacement Stainless Steel Clamps – separate clamps without a rubber coupler for mounting additional connections.

Frequently asked questions

Does the RCA6 reduce airflow noise throughout the entire ducting?
No, the coupler reduces vibrations and noise only at the specific connection point between two components. Airflow noise throughout the entire ducting route requires a different type of part.

Does the package include clamps?
Yes, two adjustable stainless steel hose clamps with a worm-drive lock.

What duct diameter is the RCA6 designed for?
For components with a diameter of 6" (15.2 cm).
