VIVOSUN VSeed Smart Seedling Box, smart propagator for 40 plants

VIVOSUN VSeed Smart Seedling Box is a smart automated propagator designed for seed germination, rooting cuttings and raising young plants. In a single compact device, it combines LED lighting, automatic irrigation, root zone heating and active ventilation. Thanks to integrated sensors and the option to control it via the VIVOSUN mobile app, it enables stable conditions to be created for the initial stages of plant development.

The propagator features 30 W full-spectrum LED lighting with an adjustable light spectrum. The lighting is designed to support germination, rooting and healthy development of young plants. The transparent cover also allows easy visual inspection of the plants without having to open the propagator.

The plants are supplied with water by an automatic Ebb & Flow irrigation system, which operates by regularly flooding the growing medium and then draining the water back into the reservoir. This method of irrigation helps maintain suitable medium moisture and supports oxygen access to the root system. The integrated 4-litre tank enables longer operation without the need for frequent water refilling.

The system also includes ThermoFlow root zone heating with a power output of 40 W, which helps maintain a suitable growing medium temperature. The required temperature can be set within a range of 20–32 °C. According to the manufacturer, the system can increase the root zone temperature by up to 10 °C at an ambient temperature of 15 °C.

Active ventilation is provided by two integrated fans, which ensure air intake and extract. They help regulate the microclimate inside the propagator, limit excessive moisture build-up and support a healthy environment for rooting cuttings and developing seedlings.

The device is equipped with sensors for measuring the temperature and relative humidity of the air inside the propagator, as well as a separate root zone temperature sensor. Via Wi-Fi connectivity and the VIVOSUN mobile app, measured values can be monitored and lighting and irrigation cycles automated. An integrated LCD display is also available for direct control of the device.

The propagator offers 40 growing positions for seedlings or cuttings and an available growing height of approximately 17 cm. Thanks to its combination of automated irrigation, lighting and microclimate regulation, it provides a comprehensive solution for plant propagation in domestic and professional growing conditions.
