Tarantula Liquid is a bacterial root stimulator from Advanced Nutrients for growers who want to strengthen lateral root branching and maintain a dominance of beneficial microbes in the root zone. It adds a second bacterial layer to Voodoo Juice and complements the fungal Piranha.

How Tarantula works in the root zone

Tarantula contains 11 selected bacterial strains at a concentration of 10 million CFU/g. These support lateral, that is side, root development, produce natural growth cofactors and suppress harmful bacteria in the root zone. At the same time, they improve nutrient transport and increase the availability of iron and phosphorus, so the plant can more easily access what it needs for a healthy start.

When and how much to dose

Use Tarantula at the start of each phase, specifically during the first two weeks of vegetative growth and the first two weeks of flowering, always at a dose of 2 ml per litre. It is not used outside these periods, because root colonisation has already taken place. The product is available only in Europe, Canada and Brazil.

When and with what to use

Tarantula, together with the bacterial Voodoo Juice and the fungal Piranha, forms the so-called Root Mass Expanders trio. Each product targets a different function of the root zone and the manufacturer recommends using them together. If you want all three effects in one dose, there is a tablet form of Voodoo Juice Plus. Tarantula runs alongside base nutrition, for example pH Perfect Sensi Grow A+B in growth and pH Perfect Sensi Bloom A+B in flowering.
