Shogun PK Warrior 9/18 is a concentrated PK booster for the 4th to 7th week of flowering. The number in the name tells the whole product story - phosphorus 9, potassium 18.

Why 9/18 instead of the classic 13/14

The established PK additive ratio is 13/14, so phosphorus and potassium are almost equal. PK Warrior has twice as much potassium as phosphorus. Shogun states that the 9/18 ratio outperforms the outdated 13/14. It brings size and density to flowers without excess phosphorus. The practical result is clear: if you are running the established PK 13/14 programme, this is its counterpart, not an addition to it - do not mix two PK boosters at the same time.

What is in the bottle besides phosphorus and potassium

PK Warrior contains plant sterols and other natural ingredients for better nutrient uptake, high-quality agrominerals and special organic acids. It is also enriched with sulphur, which is involved in the synthesis of amino acids and proteins and in the production of terpenes and essential oils, and therefore in the aroma and flavour of the harvest. It also includes the SmartZen biostimulant package for better nutrient uptake. The science behind the brand is led by biochemist Dr. Callie Seaman.

Dosing: pay attention to the base fertiliser

The dilution is 0.5 to 1 ml per litre in the middle stage of flowering, i.e. in the 4th to 7th week; the higher end of the range is suitable for a stronger start in the first week. The dose is the same for soil, coco and hydroponics - the medium does not change it, and both language versions of the website explicitly confirm this. The crucial part is the second half of the instruction: at the same time, reduce the dose of flowering fertiliser by 25 to 50%, otherwise you will overfeed the plant. PK Warrior is added directly to the tank and you follow the dosing table. Stop using it before switching to Shogun Dragon Force in the final ripening stage; these two do not overlap.

Small bottle, long-lasting supply

PK Warrior is ultra-concentrated - Shogun describes it as up to 3x more effective than standard PK boosters. At a dose of 0.5 ml per litre, one litre of concentrate makes roughly 2,000 litres of nutrient solution. Therefore, judge it by how much nutrient solution you can mix from the bottle, not by the volume of the packaging: the smallest of the offered packs (250 ml to 25 l) is enough for several tanks in a home tent, while large canisters make sense for growing facilities with tanks holding hundreds of litres.
