The German company PrimaKlima is renowned for high-quality products that last a long time, constant innovation and professional workmanship. One of the many results of their work is the Whisperblower range of fans, developed to produce a stable, strong airflow with as little noise as possible.
The entire fan is adjusted to create optimised airflow under significantly higher pressure. When you stand in front of the fan, it is as if you were travelling at full speed on a roller coaster - that is the kind of gale PrimaKlima tried to imitate. The fan's power consumption remains at levels that are fully comparable with conventional, less efficient fans.
The real wonder is how quiet they are. Even at high airflow, they do not create anywhere near as much noise as you would expect. Compared with a conventional fan, they are 2.5 times quieter. They therefore bring a completely new perspective on silent fans. They really whisper, yet they have the performance of their ordinary brothers, which are suitable for pairing with odour filters and curved ducting.
Here you can choose from high-quality fans with an EC motor, which are externally controllable and more energy efficient. There are also versions with a built-in 3-speed controller, completely variable control or with automatic control via a thermostat.

Which Whisperblower fan diameter should I choose?
Follow the diameter of your ducting and odour filter. The range offers models for 125 mm and 150/160 mm connections with an output of roughly 360 to 1400 m3/h. Smaller diameters are suitable for one tent, larger ones for a full grow room or longer duct runs.
Are Whisperblowers really quieter than standard inline fans?
Yes. Thanks to the new blade design and optimised airflow, they are approximately 2.5 times quieter than a conventional fan without losing performance. For night-time operation in a living space, this is a major difference.
What is the difference between the EC motor version and the single-speed version?
Models with an EC motor allow smooth speed control across the full range and are more energy efficient. Simpler versions have fixed speeds or a built-in step controller. If you want to fine-tune performance or control it with a thermostat, choose the EC version.
Do I need a separate speed controller for the fan?
Not always. Some models have built-in control (3 steps, variable or thermal). For externally controllable EC versions, it is worth adding a separate speed controller for precise adjustment according to the needs of the plants.
