In the case of EC fans, which we primarily recommend to our customers, you can look forward to a premium motor, quiet operation and exceptionally low electricity consumption.
AC fans in this category are driven by a top-quality German AC motor, which provides up to 15% greater airflow than standard fans and guarantees low energy consumption. The motor is adapted to a housing made of non-flammable, impact-resistant polyamide (nylon). Maintenance-free ball bearings contribute to the reliable and smooth operation of the motor.
The individual models designed for round ducting differ from one another in maximum airflow (max. 950 m3/h) and you can also choose according to flange size (max. 200 mm).
Using the supplied mounting bracket, the fan can be easily and safely attached to a wall or ceiling in any position.
What are two speeds good for?
They give you control over air exchange and noise. In the quiet phase, you run at the lower speed and the fan is quieter and more economical; under higher load, you switch to full power with just the press of a button on the body. One fan thus covers more situations than a single-speed model.
What is the difference between an EC and an AC motor?
EC fans have a premium motor with smooth control, quieter operation and significantly lower consumption - that is why we recommend them preferentially. AC models with a German AC motor offer up to 15% higher airflow than standard fans and reliable operation under more favourable conditions.
Which parameter should I use to choose the size?
The maximum airflow matters (for this range up to 950 m3/h) and the flange size for connection to ducting (max. 200 mm). Match the airflow to the volume of the space and the resistance of the filter, and the flange to the diameter of your ducting.
Are two-speed Prima Klima fans quiet?
